Beauiful peaceful location, very clean. Lovely welcoming touches: welcome tray with thorntons cakes and nice bubble bath/soap. Cottage was homely and the owners had gone out of their way to provide information on the area in the form of books. We had our 2 1/2 year old son with us and the cottage being on one level made sleeping arrangements easy. The area was wonderful for walks though a little too hilly for us to get bikes (not being regular cyclists). Lots of places within short drive away to entertain us all. a fantastic holiday much enjoyed by us all, though we did have the benefit of glorious weather. Mrs M, Hartlepool, Cleveland 23 September 2010
Absolutley fantastic! Very private and secluded cottage, perfect for a getaway! We had an amazing time at Ivy Cottage, we took our 18 month old daughter and the cottage and available space outside was perfect for her (and us!) Would definitely love to return again soon! Would not hesitate to recommend to all. Mr G, ILKESTON, Derbyshire 03 July 2010

Lovely cottage with beautiful views, very warm welcome and helpful owners next door. Mrs C, Bedford, Bedfordshire 02 September 2009
If you would like a very relaxing holiday then this is the place to go, with the dawn chourus the wall to wall scenery. If you like excellent walks, pubs with good food, retail therapy plus some historic interest then you would certainly find this holiday and the location worthwhile. Mrs K, Tunbridge Wells, Kent 29 June 2009
